Programs that Power stability

Our four core initiatives work together to restore stability and build opportunity for every Atlanta neighbor.

Health & Wellness

We provide clinical sexual health and wellness services, including HIV and STI testing, risk assessment, counseling, and coordinated linkage to care in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Community members can access prevention services, sexual health resources, and follow-up support delivered with medical oversight and public health coordination to support informed decisions and improved health outcomes.

Basic Needs

We help individuals and families access essential support such as food, clothing, and hygiene items, along with assistance applying for public benefits, housing referrals, and utility support. Our work is focused on meeting immediate needs while helping people stabilize and move forward.

YOUTH initiatives

We support young people by creating safe spaces, trusted relationships, and opportunities to grow. Our youth initiatives focus on mentorship, leadership development, violence prevention, and positive community engagement to help young people build confidence and make healthy choices.

Workforce & Economic Mobility

We help individuals and families build financial stability and prepare meaningful work. Our workforce programming focuses on financial literacy, job readiness, and career support including budgeting and credit education, résumé help, interview preparation, and connections to training, internships, and employment opportunities. Our goal is to expand access to practical career pathways so community members can build long-term financial stability and confidence.

Our Impact in action

Within the past year, 2025, POWER Atlanta Inc. has expanded in service provision and capacity:

16,305+ individuals supported through our pantry and closet program, delivering food, clothes and hygiene products.
124+ youth participated in financial literacy, anti violence, career readiness and mentorship programs
700+ backpacks distributed, filled with school supplies
150+ HIV test performed 35 PrEP referrals, 11 Individuals re-engaged in care
4,517+ community service and volunteer hours delivered
89+ Seniors participate in monthly wellness and digital literacy workshops covering device usage and scam/fraud avoidance.
36+ veterans supported with rental assistance family re-engagement, & support groups.
20+ housing linkages
725+ utility assistance (LIHEAP) applications processed
103 Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, WIC and CAPS applications assistance instances.
8 individuals provided with victim assistance support services including crisis response.
Formalized 13 new partnerships with other organizations to expand programmatic reach.
