POWER Atlanta Inc. offers private and judgment-free HIV and STD/STI testing.

Testing available for: HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and other testing based on your needs.

Need Answers Fast?

We offer rapid testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea right here at POWER Atlanta using the Roche cobas® liat system.

Some results may be ready in about 20 minutes. Additional testing may also be available through our lab partners.

PrEP & Sexual Health

Want More Protection? Ask About PrEP.

PrEP is medicine that helps prevent HIV.

PrEP consultations, testing and prescribing are provided during in-person visits at our Atlanta Wellness Clinic. You can talk with a healthcare provider and receive a prescription if PrEP is right for you. POWER Atlanta does not offer online prescribing or sell medication online.

PrEP may be for you if:

You have sex without condoms
You want more protection
You simply want PrEP

You do not have to consider yourself “high risk” to ask for PrEP.

Once prescribed, we can help connect you with partner pharmacies for your medication.

Want PrEP? Just ask. We’ll help you through the process.

Need PEP?

PEP is medicine taken after a possible exposure to prevent HIV. Start PEP as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours and no later than 72 hours.

If you need PEP while POWER is open, call us at 404-860-1129. If we are closed, do not wait until we reopen. Go to an emergency room or urgent care and ask about PEP.

POWER Atlanta Inc. is a Georgia Access Certified Application Counselor Designated Organization.

Our Certified Application Counselors can help you:

Find out if you qualify for help paying for insurance
Look at health and dental plan options
Complete your application
Enroll in your chosen plan
Get help with renewals or changes
